Benjamin Logan High School proudly celebrated several senior student-athletes who recently committed to continuing both their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. These students have demonstrated dedication, perseverance, leadership, and excellence throughout their time as Raiders, and they now look ahead to exciting futures at their respective universities.
Rylan Norviel – University of Findlay Softball

Rylan Norviel has signed to continue her softball career at the University of Findlay, where she plans to pursue a degree in Pharmacy with a specialization in cancer research.
Norviel selected Findlay because of its highly respected pharmacy program and the welcoming, hometown atmosphere she experienced on campus.
“Findlay offers an excellent program for my major, and I love the hometown vibe the campus brings to its community,” Norviel shared. “Its environment allows me to envision myself on campus, and getting to play softball is only an added bonus.”
Rylan hopes to eventually complete a residency in oncology pharmacy and is interested in pursuing a career in either a hospital setting or research laboratory. She credits her dedication and desire to help others succeed as qualities that will help her thrive at the collegiate level.
A longtime goal of hers, playing college softball became a dream during her years in travel softball and throughout a recruiting process that lasted more than four years.
Rylan is the daughter of Shauna and Jim Norviel.

Britanna Jacobs has signed to continue her softball career at Ohio Northern University, where she plans to major in Sports Management.
Jacobs said she chose Ohio Northern because of its strong internship opportunities, career preparation, and close-to-home environment.
“I chose ONU because it’s close to home, and they are very good at getting internships and helping students get good jobs,” Jacobs said.
Britanna hopes to secure a stable and successful future career while continuing to grow as both an athlete and teammate. She believes her leadership, communication, organizational skills, and strong work ethic will help her excel at the next level.
She shared that competing in college softball has been a dream since childhood.
“Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to go to college for softball,” Jacobs said.
Britanna is the daughter of Chad and Kandy Jacobs.
Cayden Brown – Bluffton University Football

Cayden Brown has signed to continue his football career at Bluffton University, where he plans to study Business Administration.
Brown said Bluffton quickly felt like home due to the supportive coaching staff and close-knit campus atmosphere.
“The coaching staff was amazing toward me and was always checking in with me,” Brown shared. “It felt like a home away from home and a place where I could grow as a student-athlete.”
Following college, Cayden hopes to own and operate his own business, potentially within construction or private contracting.
Although continuing athletics at the collegiate level was not always part of his original plan, encouragement from college coaches during his senior year inspired him to continue playing football.
Brown credits his coachability, determination, and respect for the game as qualities that will help him succeed at Bluffton.
Cayden is the son of Jenny Brown and Jake Brown.
Adilynne Gregg – Muskingum University Softball

Adilynne Gregg has signed to continue her softball career at Muskingum University, where she plans to major in Special Education.
Gregg said her connection to the university’s athletic programs helped make Muskingum feel like the right fit.
“I had a connection to the girls basketball program that got me into the softball program,” Gregg explained.
Adilynne hopes to become successful in the classroom while enjoying the opportunity to continue playing the sport she loves. She believes her determination, positivity, and ability to encourage teammates are strengths she will bring to the collegiate level.
“This has been a goal of mine ever since I fell in love with softball,” Gregg shared. “All I wanted to do was continue playing the sport that helped grow me into the person I am today.”
As she enters the next chapter of her athletic and academic career, Gregg hopes to become an effective leader and supportive teammate for the Muskingum softball program.
Adilynne is the daughter of Nathan and Tracy Gregg.
