An outstanding bowler has made her college choice.
Bellefontaine standout Chloe Heminger recently signed her letter of intent with Wittenberg University.
She was joined by her family, teammates, and coaches during the signing ceremony at T-P Lanes in Bellefontaine.
Heminger chose Wittenberg because of the campus and academics.
Heminger had a banner career at BHS.
She was named First-Team CBC four times and helped lead the Lady Chiefs to four consecutive state tournament appearances. Chloe also surpassed 40,000 career pins.
Heminger plans to study physical health and education.
Her parents are Jason and Jennifer Heminger.
Chloe reflected on her signing, “College bowling has been a goal since my freshman year. Once I started getting more competitive with other teams during matches and tournaments, the more I kept telling myself I was going to bowl in college.
“My goals at Wittenberg are to have fun with the team, bowl to the best of my abilities, and help my team succeed.”
Bellefontaine girls bowling coach Jane Kline added, “Chloe has worked hard to get where she is today. The last couple of years I pushed her to be better, and she accepted the challenge.”
