BelleHop celebrated its first year of service in Bellefontaine by shuttling eight Shawnee Springs residents for a meal at the Der Dutchman Restaurant & Bakery in Plain City, Aug. 8.
The free shuttle service is offered for adults ages 50 and above, operating in Bellefontaine every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
BelleHop opened its shuttle doors with its first run Aug. 6, 2025, and has been hitting the road on Wednesdays ever since.
The shuttle completes four loops throughout the day, stopping at key locations to pick up and drop off riders. The timetable for the BelleHop Shuttle can be found below.

Riders can board or exit the shuttle at any stop during the loops, making it convenient for shopping and community visits. There is no bag limit, and again, the service is free to all area residents ages 50 and above.
