MARYSVILLE — Cars, motorcycles and Halloween treats will come together for a special fall gathering at the Honda Heritage Center coming up this weekend.
The Honda Heritage “Cars, Bikes and Candy” event is set for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Honda Heritage Center, 24025 Honda Parkway, Marysville, located across the street from the Marysville Auto Plant.
The festivities are free and open to all ages. Offering a Halloween twist on the monthly car show gathering at the Honda Heritage Center that began earlier this year, the event features vehicles of all makes and models alongside trick-or-treating opportunities for children. Free hot chocolate and cider will be served as well.
Car show participants are invited to bring their favorite ride and candy to hand out to young trick-or-treaters. No registration is required for participating vehicles. Halloween costumes are encouraged for visitors and participants, with organizers asking that costumes remain family-friendly.
Visitors also will find candy stations set up inside the museum, giving families another opportunity to collect treats while exploring the Honda Heritage Center. Guests can take a self-guided tour of the museum, where they’ll learn about Honda’s earliest beginnings in the U.S., selling three models of small capacity motorcycles out of a small office in Los Angeles starting in 1959.
The event flyer highlights classic Honda cars, trick-or-treating, photo opportunities and family activities, promising an evening of “great cars, sweet treats” at the Honda Heritage Center. During the spring, the center launched its popular monthly “Cars, Bikes and Coffee” car show, which took place on the fourth Saturday of the month, from April through August.
