The Central Buckeye Conference has released its yearly All-Conference teams for both the Mad River and Kenton Trail Divisions for baseball. Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, and Bellefontaine all saw selections to the yearly awards list.

Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake placed a combined 12 players on the all-conference baseball teams for the Mad River Division. Highlighted by eight members of each team being scattered throughout the first team.

Benjamin Logan led the way with five first-team selections: Cayden Brown (outfield), Micah Gregg (infield), Jacob Hawley (pitcher), Soli Hughes (outfield), and Mad River Player of the year Adam Tinsman (pitcher).

The Raiders’ pitching depth was especially notable, with both Hawley and Tinsman earning top honors. Both Tinsman and Hawley headlined a Raiders team that had the lowest ERA in the division (2.40 ERA).

Indian Lake also had a strong showing on the first team with three selections. Nixon Lillard was named as an infielder, while Jaxon Snipes earned recognition as a pitcher. Reed Strayer rounded out the group with a first-team nod in the outfield.

On the second team, Indian Lake added two more honorees in Cooper Hall and Aaron Rapp, both infielders. Benjamin Logan’s Oliver Morse earned second-team recognition as an infielder.

Both programs were further represented in the special mention category. Brady Golliday of Indian Lake and Xaiver Allen of Benjamin Logan were each recognized for their contributions during the season.

On the opposite end of the conference, Bellefontaine saw an upsetting season reflected in the all-conference honors. Only two Chiefs received recognition on the division all-star squad.

Patrick and Spencer Stolly were named to the conference team. Patrick was honored as a special mention with a .253 average and a .333 on base percentage, and Spencer was awarded the sportsmanship award for Bellefontaine.

The all-conference honors reflect a strong season for both Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake, with Benjamin Logan’s balance of pitching and offensive talent and Indian Lake’s consistency across the lineup earning recognition from league coaches.
