The Miami Valley American Legion Post 652 hosted its annual Memorial Day parade Monday, May 25, in DeGraff, which featured a patriotic display of 30 units making their way through the village.
After the parade, ceremonies continued at the DeGraff Cemetery and Quincy Cemetery. At the DeGraff cemetery there was 160 plus in attendance.
Tim Shaw from DeGraff Post 652 was the Master of Ceremonies and Logan County Commissioner Mike Yoder was the featured speaker.
The Riverside Band played the National Anthem and Taps at both cemeteries. The Miami Valley Post 652 Honor Guard rendered a 21-gun salute at both ceremonies.
