As graduation season approaches, local families now have one final opportunity to celebrate their graduates in a special way that will be seen across all of Logan County.
Community members are invited to submit graduation shout outs, congratulations, and special messages for inclusion in the May 15 Premier Edition of the community bulletin and newspaper, which will be distributed countywide to more than 10,000 households.
The special graduation section gives parents, grandparents, friends, businesses, churches, and organizations a chance to recognize the accomplishments of local seniors and graduates with personalized messages appearing both in print and online.
Organizers say submissions have already been pouring in as families look for meaningful ways to celebrate students reaching this major milestone.
“Graduation is one of the biggest moments in a young person’s life,” organizers said. “We wanted to create something affordable and community-focused where families can publicly celebrate their graduates and share their pride with the entire county.”
Messages can include:
Congratulations to graduating seniors
Encouraging messages
Recognition from parents and grandparents
Scholarship or achievement announcements
Support from local businesses and organizations
Good luck wishes for college, careers, or military service
Each shout out is simple to submit online and includes up to 125 characters, making it quick and easy for anyone to participate.
The May 15 Premier Edition is expected to be one of the publication’s most widely read editions of the year and will serve as a keepsake for many local families.
Space is limited, and organizers say the submission deadline is approaching quickly.
“We don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity,” organizers said. “This is truly a community edition celebrating local people and local accomplishments.”
Graduation shout outs and congratulations can now be submitted online for $25 and will appear in both the printed edition and the online community bulletin board.
Submissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until space is filled for the May 15 edition.
