Indian Lake Lakers
The rain didn't slow down Indian Lake as the Laker boys track and field team racked up 133 points to claim first place out of 11 teams at the Tiger Invite at Waynesfield Goshen Friday night. Despite the wet conditions, Indian Lake delivered strong performances across all the events to outscore runner-up North Union, which finished with 112 points.
Aidan Stinebaugh won the triple jump in a school record leap of 42-10, which also set a new Tiger Invite meet record. The previous record was 41-2.5 set by Laker Dustin Franks. Stinebaugh also placed second in the 400 m dash (53.05).

Christopher Timms was first in shot put (49-5.5) and was fourth in discus (132-5).
Gavin Henry was first in the 110 m hurdles (15.21) and second in the 300 m hurdles (41.47).
The 4x400 relay team of Brodey Reisinger, Kade Richardson, Gavin Henry and Silas Holbrook were first (3:35).
Finishing second was the 4x200 relay team of Noah Shirk, Kade Richardson, Weston Campbell, and Ke'Shawn Blackwell (1:37)
Placing third was the 4x100 relay team of Brodey Reisinger, Gavin Henry, Silas Holbrook and Ke'Shawn Blackwell (45.73) and Silas Holbrook in the 200.
Placing fourth was Brodey Reisinger in the 100 m dash (11.29), Wes Campbell in the high jump (5-8), and Carter Barnett in the long jump (19-4.5)
Placing fifth was Noah Shirk in the 110 m hurdles (17.5) and 300 hurdles (44.09), Kade Richardson in the triple jump (36-3.5), Will Faler in the 800 m run (2:15) the 4x800 relay team of Carson Clary, Aidan Stinebaugh, Will Faler and Cason Lacher (9:30)
Placing sixth was Silas Holbrook in the 100 m dash (11.47), Cason Lacher in the 1600 m run (5:19), and Titus Kelly in the 3200 m run (11:23).
Placing seventh was Brodey Reisinger in the long jump (18-8.5) and Nathan White in the 3200 m run (11:28)
Placing eighth was Kade Richardson in the 400 m dash (56.31), Jordan Henderson in the 1600 m run (5:20), Will Faler in the pole vault (10-0), and Carson Clary in the 800 m run (2:17)
The girls’ team tied for fourth place with 73 points.
For the girls, Addison Beck set a new school record in the long jump with a jump of 17-4.5, surpassing her own record of 17-1. Beck also finished first in high jump (5-0), first in the 100 m dash (12.74), and first in the 200 m dash (26.27).
Laura Metzger was third in the 3200 m run (13:34) and part of the 4x800 relay team with Alicia Brielmaier, Allison Overmyer, and Karsyn Newkirk that placed fourth (11:40).
Finishing fifth was Terra Beltz in the shot put (33-1), Alicia Brielmaier in the 800 m run (2:50), the 4x100 relay team of Maddie Leiss-Breakey, Piper Warnecke, Adriana Andrus, and Diem Martin (56.99), and the 4x400 relay team of Raelin Klofta, Mary Archer, Karsyn Newkirk and Diem Martin (4:45.38)
Finishing sixth was the 4x200 relay team of Maddie Leiss-Breakey, Piper Warnecke, Adriana Andrus and Mary Archer (2:00)
Finishing seventh was Kayleigh Taylor in the 3200 m run (14:37).
Finishing eighth was Piper Warnecke in the 200 m dash (29.02), Diem Martin in the triple jump (24-10), Allison Overmyer in the 1600 m run (6:44)
Indian Lake has a full week ahead with the team going to Urbana on Wednesday, some athletes will compete at Wayne on Thursday, and on Friday, we head to Lima Shawnee.

Ben Logan
Ben. Logan’s boys and girls track and field teams delivered a strong all‑around showing at the recent high school meet, highlighted by multiple event wins, podium finishes and a wave of personal bests across sprints, distance, relays and field events.
The boys were paced by a victory from senior Carter Daniels, who won the pole vault by clearing 14 feet, and a first‑place finish from the 4x200 relay of Alex Hassel, Davis Matthews, Candin Tucker and Carter Buck in 1:37.38. Gavin Jordan turned in one of the meet’s top distance performances, placing second in the 800 meters in a personal‑best 2:10.41, while Greyson Butler finished third in the 3200 with a PB of 11:10.92. Butler also added a fourth‑place finish in the 1600. The boys added third‑place finishes in both the 4x400 (3:39.33) and 4x800 (9:02.89) relays. In the field, Roman Maxwell placed third in the triple jump with a personal‑best 36‑10 and added top‑five finishes in the high jump and long jump.
On the girls side, Abby Vance led a dominant effort with two wins and a runner‑up finish. The junior captured the long jump (17‑7½) and triple jump (35‑0), setting personal bests in both, and finished second in the 100 meters in 12.80, also a PB. Vance anchored the winning 4x100 relay as Ben. Logan took first in 53.66. The girls distance group also shined as the 4x800 relay of Lucy Wenger, Elliott Butler, Peyton Smith and Lottie Bodin won in 11:02.34.
Additional highlights for the girls included Peyton Smith’s third‑place finish in the 1600 (6:04.81) and a breakthrough performance from Kaylee Hays, who won the discus with a personal‑best throw of 111 feet. Ben. Logan also placed third in the girls 4x200 and 4x400 relays, rounding out a meet marked by depth, balance and improvement across all event groups.
Riverside
DeGraff Riverside turned in a developmental but encouraging performance at the meet, with several athletes posting personal bests and the girls relay group earning a podium finish.
The boys were led by sophomore Tristin Orsborne, who competed in multiple events, finishing 15th in the 100 meters (12.18) and 12th in the 200 meters (25.52), and placing 18th in the long jump (15‑10).
Sophomore Cruz Parker recorded personal bests in two events, clocking 14.40 in the 100 and throwing 36‑3 in the shot put. Senior Joel Brooks added a personal‑best effort of 107‑6 in the discus, while Aiden Fout doubled up in the distance races, competing in both the 800 and 1600 meters.
On the girls’ side, DeGraff Riverside’s top result came in the 4x100 relay, where Kenna Johnson, Lily Zwiebel, Madison Schindewolf, and Addison Shoe finished third in 56.22. Johnson also posted a strong individual showing, placing seventh in the long jump with a mark of 14‑11½ and recording a personal best of 20.27 in the 100 hurdles.
Several other athletes showed improvement throughout the day. Lily Zwiebel ran a personal‑best 15.11 in the 100 meters, while freshman Madison Schindewolf recorded a PB of 1:14.84 in the 400. In the throws, Valerie Knight competed in both the shot put and discus, and Cruz Parker and Brooks provided depth for the boys in the field events.
