Meet Fanny. She is a beautiful tan Boxer/Bulldog mix. She came into rescue with her puppies, and like so many good mama dogs, she put her babies first. Now that her little ones are safe and starting their own new chapters, it is finally Fanny’s turn to find a forever home of her own.
Fanny is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love her, protect her, and let her finally be the one cared for. She would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, loving rescue dog with beauty, heart and so much love left to give.
Fanny has been at the shelter for over 120 days. She has shown us what a resilient cuddle-bug she is. Fanny ready leave her past behind and find a spot on your couch and in your heart. Fanny's go to move is "paw". She loves to perform that trick for everyone she meets.
Fanny appears to be potty trained, would do great with kids, walks nicely on leash and knows other tricks like "sit".
Like many shelter dogs, much of her past is unknown to us, Fanny came to us with worn down teeth probably due to lack of care in her earlier life.
She has no ongoing health issues, nor does she require a special diet. She will be the first one to show you that she doesn't let her teeth slow her down at meal or snack time!
She loves hanging out with people, doesn’t pay much attention to the other dogs. When she’s outside, she enjoys inspecting the yard and quietly observing the world go by, but would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
If you’re ready to bring her home to be your loving companion, visit the Logan County Animal Shelter in person at 284 S. County Road 32, Bellefontaine, or call the staff at (937) 292-4172.
Dogs and cats available for adoption can also be viewed online at the shelter’s website, https://www.logancountyohio.gov/animal-shelter.html.
