Meet Denali, the lovable hound dog!

Pet of the Week: Denali

By The Logan County Animal Shelter

Meet Denali! She is a 4-year-old mix. We think she is predominantly a bully mixed with a little hound.

Denali will thrive in a quieter home with patient adopters who understand that building trust takes time. We do not recommend her for a home with children as she needs a slow home with calm and routine.

If you're willing to go slow, the reward is a loyal, good, and totally lovable companion.

Denali knows the commands sit, lay, roll (she only goes half way over), and shake, although sometimes she will test you and see if you will give her the treat without her having to do the tricks and half the time she's so cute it works!

She has great leash manners and likes a slower pace. Denali came to us with some pretty severe ear infections but she is on the mend and ready to have a home to call her own!
