Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake were well represented on the Central Buckeye Conference all-conference softball teams, with several players earning recognition across the Mad River Division.
Benjamin Logan (11-12) placed two players on the first team, led by Adilynne Gregg, who earned first-team honors as an infielder and was also named the team’s sportsmanship award recipient. Rylan Norviel joined Gregg on the first team as another standout infielder, highlighting the strength of the Raiders’ infield play this season.
The Raiders added additional recognition on the second and special mention teams. Brielle Kline was named second team all-conference at infielder, while Kylie Harner earned special mention honors.
Indian Lake (11-15) also had strong representation, led by MacKenzie Miller, who earned first-team honors in the outfield. The Lakers added two second-team selections, with Annie Rapp recognized as an infielder and Bre Wisener named to the team as an outfielder.
Kyler Carruthers earned special mention honors for Indian Lake, while Hannah Johnson was recognized with the team’s sportsmanship award.
In the Kenton Trail Division, Bellefontaine (5-20) had one first-team honoree in Addison Wical, who was selected as an infielder. Wical earned her spot, swatting a .543 batting average, and collected 14 extra base hits in just 23 games.
Joy Fogan earned second-team recognition for her infield play. Fogan broke the Chieftain single-season home run record, while also pitching almost 200 innings on the season.
Ava Dolan received special mention for the girls, and Chloe Heminger was named Bellefontaine’s sportsmanship award recipient.
The recognition caps off a season of steady contributions from all three programs across conference play. All these girls had their hand in being essential playmakers for their teams this season, some capping off careers while others broke out and look to be powerhouses for years to follow.
