The Central Buckeye Conference (CBC) has announced its postseason baseball honors, recognizing several standout athletes for their exceptional performances during the season.
Leading the way is Adam Tinsman, who earned the conference’s prestigious Player of the Year award, solidifying his status as one of the top players in the CBC. Tinsman’s consistency, leadership, and impact on the field made him a clear choice for the honor and a key figure in his team’s success.
Tinsman highlighted the All-Conference First Team as a pitcher, further demonstrating his dominance on the mound throughout the season. He helped lead the Benjamin Logan Raiders to a Mad River division championship.
Throughout the season, the sophomore led the conference in ERA with a miniscule .78 Earned runs allowed to go along with a league-leading 6 wins on the mound. As a batter, Tinsman matched his elite output by hitting a strong .425 average from the batter’s box, driving in 30 RBIs on the year.
Joining him on the First Team pitching staff is Jacob Hawley (1.40 ERA, 5 Wins), who impressed coaches and opponents alike with his strong performances and ability to control the game. Together, the two pitchers represented some of the best arms in the conference.

The First Team also featured standout contributors in multiple positions. Freshman Micah Gregg (.343 BA, .980 Fielding percentage) was selected as an infielder after showcasing dependable defense and offensive production throughout the year. In the outfield, Cayden Brown and Soli Hughes earned First Team honors for their ability to make plays defensively while also contributing at the plate.
Browns' season was cut short, but before the injury, he was leading the entire conference in batting average, with a mark north of .500 in 16 games. For Hughes, this is his second first-team selection in the CBC.
Second Team honors were awarded to Oliver Morse, who earned recognition as an infielder. Morse’s steady play and contributions throughout the season earned him a spot among the conference’s top performers.
Additionally, Xavier Allen received Special Mention honors for his work in the infield. This recognition highlights his effort and impact, acknowledging a strong season that stood out among his peers.
This year’s CBC honors reflect the depth of talent across the roster for Benjamin Logan, as they hope to keep the momentum rolling as the state tournament creeps up quickly. From top-level pitching to solid defensive play and offensive production, these athletes demonstrated the skill and dedication that define high school baseball.
