The Mary Rutan Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026–2027 Community Wellness Grant Program.

The purpose of the grant program is to foster community partnerships that promote and support a healthier Logan County by addressing priority health concerns identified through periodic community health assessments.

Applications and all required documentation must be submitted electronically by midnight Aug. 31, 2026.

For the 2026–2027 grant cycle, Youth Healthy Living, Youth Mental Health, and Senior Care have been identified as key funding priorities.

Collaborative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and schools serving the Logan County community are encouraged to apply and share evidence-based programs that benefit at-risk populations.

Grant requests ranging from $500 to $5,000 will be considered during this funding cycle.

“The Foundation is committed to improving the health and well-being of Logan County residents, especially our youth and senior populations, who often face the greatest challenges,” said Bobbie Trittschuh, executive director of the Mary Rutan Foundation.

“We believe that when young people are given the opportunity to succeed and seniors receive the support they need, our entire community becomes stronger and better positioned for everyone to thrive.”

Applications can be accessed and submitted through the Foundation’s website at https://www.maryrutan.org/forms/wellness-grant/.

Mary Rutan Foundation’s Community Wellness Grant Program was established in 2014. Since that time, more than $500,000 has been awarded to community partners addressing health and wellness needs identified throughout Logan County.

Many of these funded programs continue to serve residents today, sustained through new partnerships and additional funding resources.

Questions regarding the grant or qualification guidelines may be directed to Mary Rutan Foundation at (937) 599-7003 or via email at [email protected]. ■
