The Benjamin Logan Raiders continued their impressive season Tuesday night, sweeping cross-city rival Bellefontaine in straight sets during CBC conference play.

Benjamin Logan controlled the match from the opening serve, taking the first set 25-19 before extending its advantage with a 25-15 victory in the second. The Raiders then closed out the night in dominant fashion, winning the third set 25-10 to complete the sweep.

The victory moves Benjamin Logan to an astounding 14-1 on the season as the Raiders continue to build momentum in CBC play.

Georgia Daniels led the Raider attack with 11 kills, followed by Summer Cline with 10 and Abby Vance with eight. Daniels and Vance also reached a significant career milestone this week, with both players surpassing 500 career kills.

Autumn Cline continued to orchestrate the Benjamin Logan offense with 36 assists, while Leah Dials provided a strong presence from the service line with a team-high five aces.

The Raiders also received strong defensive efforts from Brielle Kline and Lydia Johnson. Kline posted a 2.11 passing rating, while Johnson led the team with a 2.66 rating.

For Bellefontaine, Ava Layman led the Lady Chiefs with seven kills and an ace, while Alayna Boyd followed with five kills. The loss drops Bellefontaine to 5-10 on the season.

The Lady Chiefs will have a quick opportunity to bounce back, hosting London tonight as they look to get back into the win column.

Benjamin Logan will now turn its attention to its next CBC matchup, traveling to Shawnee High School on Thursday, Sept. 24.
