The Bellefontaine City Council has a relatively light agenda scheduled for its regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m.

The council will consider a resolution directing the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District to apply for and accept a Capital Improvement Community Park, Recreation/Conversation Project Pass-Through Grant from the State of Ohio in the amount of $200,000, which would be used for the purposes of the Hoffman Pool replacement project.

As for ordinances, up for a first reading is a measure making supplemental appropriations and amending the permanent appropriations for the purposes of the insurance trust fund. The ordinance will raise the appropriations in the Insurance Claims – Insurance Trust account from $1,600,00 to $2,625,000.

An ordinance up for the second reading will make supplemental appropriations in the amount of approximately $305,000 for the purposes of group insurance, which is spread across 19 different departments in the city.

The public is encouraged to attend.
