BELLEFONTAINE, OH — The team behind the Logan County Chronicle says community response to its premiere edition has exceeded expectations, with continued demand and widespread encouragement pouring in from readers across the county.
In a message shared this week, Chronicle staff expressed gratitude for the feedback, support and enthusiasm shown by local residents following the launch of the publication’s first edition.
“We are overwhelmed with the continued love and support for our premiere edition of the Logan County Chronicle,” the team said. “Thank you to each and every single person who has taken the time to share feedback with our team.”
Distribution of the premiere issue is still underway throughout Logan County and will continue into next week. According to the Chronicle, demand for the inaugural edition surpassed original projections, leaving some residents still waiting to receive a copy.
The publication says efforts are ongoing to place copies in the hands of readers who have not yet received one.
Residents interested in obtaining the premiere edition can still pick up a copy directly from the Chronicle’s office at 870B East Sandusky Avenue in Bellefontaine, located next to Subway in Highland Plaza.
The newspaper also announced that its first regular weekly edition is scheduled for delivery to paid subscribers beginning June 5. Monthly subscriptions are currently available for $17.99 per month.
In addition to home delivery subscriptions, the Chronicle says it is finalizing a list of retail locations throughout Logan County where individual copies will be available for purchase. That list is expected to be released before June 5.
Single weekly editions will cost $5 per copy.
The launch marks the return of a new locally focused newspaper option in Logan County, something supporters have said they have been eager to see.
“Thanks again for the overwhelming support in a local newspaper in Logan County,” the Chronicle team shared.
