Duane Scot Collins, 46 of Huntsville passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026. Duane was born December 6, 1979 to David R. and Holly M (Brown) Collins. Duane was a graduate of Indian Lake High School, class of 1998. He enjoyed manual labor, whether construction jobs for work or the challenge of fixing cars. Duane was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan & didn’t miss a beat during college football season. He loved spending time with his children, especially his grandchildren. Duane will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Holly M. Collins; children, Kierstyn (Levi) Reed, Reese (Katie) Collins, Noah Collins and Emma Collins; grandchildren, Korra Oakley, Tucker Reed, Colter Reed and Lucy his granddaughter on the way; siblings, Dustin (Sherrie) Collins, Darin (Tobi) Collins and Heather (Gary) Campbell; grandmother, Carolyn Collins; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, David R. Collins; son, Drew Collins; grandfather, Darrell Collins; maternal grandparents, Harold & Wanda Brown.
