Gary M. Kindle Sr., 72, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at The Manor at Greendale in Findlay. He was born July 1, 1953, in Kenton, Ohio to Orlin and Minerva H. (Ray) Kindle. Gary was a graduate of Kenton Senior High School. He had a deep love for fishing, especially trips to Michigan, and he also enjoyed spending time at his favorite local spot, Indian Lake. Gary loved to tinker and could often be found working on just about anything he could get his hands on. He especially cherished spending time with his great-grandchildren and his only grandson. Gary enjoyed his work at Walmart, where he truly valued interacting with the many people he met each day. Gary is survived by his stepdaughter, Shearon (Tunji) Olaitan of Lima; grandson, Garrett Kindle of Findlay; and three great-grandchildren, Luke, Millie, and Murphy. He is also survived by his sisters, Barb Peddicord of Kenton, and Kay (Mike) Whaley of Westminster, MD; daughter-in-law, Freda Kindle of Findlay; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Gary Kindle II.  Honoring Gary’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
