LONDON, Ohio — The Indian Lake Lady Lakers traveled to London on Tuesday night for a non-conference volleyball matchup against the London Red Raiders. Despite a strong effort, the Lady Lakers fell in four sets, 18-25, 26-24, 19-25, and 13-25.

After dropping the opening set, Indian Lake responded with a gritty performance in the second set. The Lady Lakers edged the Red Raiders 26-24 to even the match and showcase their resilience. London, however, regained momentum in the third set before closing out the match with a strong fourth-set victory.

Indian Lake received balanced offensive production throughout the evening. Cami Bailey, Alivia Kinney, and Courtney Altstaetter each paced the Lakers with seven kills. Bailey also contributed defensively with 10 digs, while Kinney added an ace. Altstaetter finished with a block and two digs.

Mackenzie Miller recorded five kills and was a force in the back row with 13 digs. Setter Addyson Roby filled the stat sheet with 26 assists, 10 digs, one block, and one ace, helping direct the Lakers' offense throughout the match. Piper Warnecke anchored the defense with 12 digs.

The junior varsity Lady Lakers also saw action Tuesday night but were defeated by London in two sets.

Indian Lake will look to build on several individual performances as the Lady Lakers prepare for their next contest.
