Thanks to a community that stepped up in support, the Chippewa neighborhood at Indian Lake had much to celebrate along the waterfront on Friday, Sept. 11. Not only did they officially present the new shelter house at the neighborhood marina, but they introduced an ADA-compliant kayak launch a few hundred yards away.
Located at the end of Seminole Path, the shelter house provides a place for people to meet for a picnic, a group project, a birthday party, or whatever else they need.
