MILFORD — Indian Lake put together a dominant performance Friday night, jumping on Fairbanks early and never looking back in a 40-7 road victory on Aug. 28.

The Lakers scored in each of the first three quarters while holding the Panthers scoreless until the fourth, building a 40-0 advantage before Fairbanks finally found the end zone late in the game. Indian Lake finished the night with 482 total yards, including 261 through the air and 221 on the ground.

Quarterback Brady Golldiay led the offensive attack, completing 14 of 17 passes for 261 yards and five touchdowns. His 82% completion rate helped Indian Lake consistently move the football throughout the night.

His 5 Touchdown performance brings his total to 12 over the first two weeks of the season after a thrilling 7-TD display in Week 1.

Golldiay established a connection with wide receiver Brodey Reisinger early and often. Reisinger hauled in five passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns, including scoring receptions of 33 and 36 yards.

Indian Lake added three more touchdowns before halftime.

Golldiay scored on a 29-yard touchdown in the second quarter, while Blake Sell added a 13-yard touchdown catch just before halftime. Sell finished the night with four receptions for 45 yards and two touchdowns, adding another nine-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter.

The Lakers also found success on the ground, led by Dawson Stevenson, who carried the ball 10 times for 110 yards, averaging 11 yards per attempt. Brady Golldiay added 46 rushing yards on eight attempts, while Aaron Rapp contributed 28 yards and a 12-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter.

Defensively, Indian Lake kept Fairbanks' offense in check for the majority of the night. The Panthers managed just 138 total offensive yards and were held to negative-20 rushing yards on 21 attempts. Fairbanks completed 11 of 18 passes for 158 yards, but two interceptions and four sacks helped keep the Panthers from sustaining drives.

Fairbanks finally broke through in the fourth quarter when Aidan Hafner connected with Collin Bailey on a 45-yard touchdown pass. Bailey finished with seven receptions for 143 yards and the lone Fairbanks touchdown.
Indian Lake's offense, meanwhile, proved too much for the Panthers to handle. The Lakers controlled the game, possessing the ball for more than 5 minutes longer than Fairbanks.

After opening the game with a strong showing, Indian Lake continued that momentum Friday night, using a balanced offensive attack and a suffocating defensive effort to secure a convincing 40-7 victory.
