The postseason brought together some of the area's top girls golfers Wednesday at Stillwater Valley, with Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake both finishing inside the top eight at the Southwest Division II Sectional. Riverside also closed their season at Stillwater.

The Raiders finished seventh as a team with a score of 451, while the Lakers followed closely behind in eighth at 460. Riverside also sent three individual golfers to compete at the sectional.

For Benjamin Logan, a balanced team effort helped the Raiders finish near the top of the team standings.

Kaylynn Crumm paced the Raiders with a 108, tying for 25th overall. Crumm carded a 55 on the front nine before closing with a 53 on the back.

Catherine Bramlage was right behind her with a 109, good for 29th. After opening with a 58, Bramlage responded with a 51 on the back nine.

Leah Braddock also finished within striking distance of the team leaders, posting a 110 to tie for 30th. Braddock shot a 53 on the front nine and a 57 on the back.

River Vanvoorhis finished tied for 48th with a 124 after rounds of 57 and 67, while Annika Schmidt rounded out the Raiders' lineup with a 162.

Indian Lake was led by Adriana Andrus, who turned in the best individual score among the local golfers.

Andrus fired a 104 to tie for 19th, improving significantly on the back nine with a 49 after shooting 55 on the front.

Chloe Borgerding followed with a 114, shooting 55-59 to finish tied for 35th.

Lillian Strauser provided one of the Lakers' biggest highlights of the day, recording a personal-best 117. Strauser shot a 54 on the front nine and a 63 on the back to finish 39th.

Lillian Michael carded a 125 to tie for 52nd, while Terra Beltz finished with a 137 to tie for 61st.

Riverside was represented by Adalynn Calaway, Lei Hurley and Demi Gonzalez.

Calaway finished tied for 48th with a 124 after shooting 61-63, while Hurley posted a 137 after rounds of 68 and 69 to tie for 61st. Gonzalez did not finish her round.

For the Logan County-area golfers, the sectional provided one final opportunity to put together a strong postseason performance. Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake both finished among the top eight teams, while several local golfers turned in notable individual rounds — including Strauser's personal-best score.

As the fall season moves forward, the sectional marks the end of the road for the local girls golf teams, bringing another season of competition on the links to a close.
