Hello, Chronicle subscribers! Hope your week has been going well! I’m happy for a less wacky Wednesday compared to last week, when my family was dealing with the large pine tree that fell in our backyard onto our power lines following a thunderstorm.

The Chronicle staff has been plugging away at the office today on future plans for our print editions…please stay tuned! We are getting very excited.🙂

In the meantime, don’t forget that RTC Services is offering a volunteer open house on Thursday to introduce this exciting new program.

Mushroom hunting is apparently right at peak season around Logan County, and Tom Stephens is excited to cook up some tasty morels. He’d also love advice for your favorite morel recipes!

Several area school boards have convened this week, and Benjamin Logan’s Board of Education approved new superintendent Sean Flynn’s contact Monday night.

In addition, Indian Lake Schools’ Board of Education spotlighted at their meeting two Distinguished Alumni recipients who have achieved excellence in their respective career fields.

Thanks for being here! Your support means a lot to all of us at the Chronicle. Drop us a message or story idea anytime at [email protected].
