Nancy L. (Driskill) Roby, 83, of Lakeview, OH, passed away Friday night, June 12, 2026, at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center, Lakeview, OH. Nancy was born on May 5, 1943, in Springfield, OH, a daughter of the late Harry A. Sr. and Edith Mae (Huffman) Driskill. Nancy married Wilbur “Butch” Roby on December 31, 1965, and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2021. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry A Driskill, Jr., and Byron Driskill. Nancy is survived by four children, Penny ( Michael) Ramsey of Bellefontaine, OH, Cindy (Robert) Ferkins of Dola, OH, Tracy (Daryl) Pennington of Melbourne, FL and Roben Roby of Lakeview; 11 grandchildren, David Ramsey, Jason Ramsey, Adam Roby, David Pennington, Paul Pennington, Savannah Ferkins,  Rhiannon Amweg, Tiffaney Spearman, James Pennington, Crystal Pennington, Deyon Lane; 22 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Walker and Laura Driskill, both of Lima, OH; sister in-law, Mary Roby of Kenton, OH; special friend and caregiver, Dreema Snyder; several nieces and nephews; her gambling partner, Connie Cooper; and her special group of friends, Patty, Suzy, Tina, Lynn and Eileen. Nancy was a 1961 graduate of Jackson Center High School. She worked in Kenton, OH at Northern Electric and retired from Rockwell/Meritor.  Nancy was a wonderful cook and baker. She owned a bakery and restaurant at Indian Lake for a few years. Nancy enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie, playing bingo, and taking vacations with Butch to Las Vegas. Nancy’s family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff of Interim Hospice for their compassionate care of Nancy. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview.
