Benjamin Logan put together a strong weekend at the plate, rolling to wins over Shawnee and Tecumseh behind big offensive performances from Adam Tinsman and Cayden Brown.
This puts the Raiders in pole position in the Mad River Division as we head into the back half of the season.
On Thursday, Tinsman drove in four runs on three hits to lead the Raiders to a 12-2 victory over Shawnee. He had RBI singles in the third and fifth innings and an RBI double in the second. Brown also drove in four runs as Benjamin Logan totaled 11 hits.
Shawnee scored first in the top of the first inning when Einink drew a bases-loaded walk, but the Raiders responded with Micah Gregg’s RBI double in the bottom half to take the lead for good. Benjamin Logan broke the game open with five runs in the second inning, highlighted by RBI doubles from Brown, Tinsman and Gregg.

The Raiders added three more runs in the third, scoring on an error, a Brown groundout and another RBI single from Tinsman.
Tinsman earned the win, allowing two hits and one unearned run over 4 2/3 innings while striking out five. Gregg and Hughes each had multiple hits. Shawnee stole four bases, with Roeder and Mounts each collecting a hit.
Benjamin Logan kept the momentum Friday, April 24, with a 13-3 win over Tecumseh, powered by Brown’s five RBIs on three hits. Brown singled in the first inning to score one run, doubled in the second to drive in three, and added a two-run single in the sixth.
The Raiders broke the game open with seven runs in the sixth inning. Brown and Riedmiller each drove in two runs during the rally, while Tinsman, Spriggs and a Tecumseh error accounted for the rest.
Tecumseh scored in the first inning on an error, but Benjamin Logan answered with four runs in the second to build a 5-2 lead. Gregg added an RBI single in the third.
Gregg picked up the win, surrendering four hits and three runs, one earned, over 4 1/3 innings. Hawley pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief.
Benjamin Logan finished with 13 hits, with Morse, Spriggs, Tinsman and Hughes each collecting multiple hits.
Olinger led Tecumseh with two RBIs and stole two bases, while Kain went 2-for-2 at the plate.
Ben Logan returns to action Monday, April 27, as they look to build on a mid-season surge and claim a share of the Mad River Division.
