The Benjamin Logan boys soccer team continues to build on a historic season, and the Raiders added another milestone Thursday night.
Benjamin Logan traveled to Urbana and returned home with a 1-0 victory, extending its winning streak to six games — the longest in program history. The victory pushes the Raiders to 9-3-3 on the season and marks another significant step forward for a team that has found its stride at the most important point of the year.
In a tightly contested matchup, the Raiders needed just one goal to secure the victory. With 16 minutes remaining, Brock Henry delivered the decisive strike, finishing a long throw-in from Bodie Clapsaddle to break the deadlock and put Benjamin Logan in front.
From there, the Raiders relied on a defense that has become a defining part of their recent success. Goalkeeper Carter Phillips turned aside five shots to preserve the shutout, recording his fifth clean sheet of the season and helping Benjamin Logan close out another hard-fought win.
The six-game winning streak represents more than a strong stretch of results for the Raiders. By establishing a new program record, Benjamin Logan has put together a run that will stand as a benchmark for future Raider teams.
While demonstrating the consistency and resilience needed to win close matches. The Raiders have continued to find ways to get results, whether through timely scoring or defensive execution, and Thursday's performance showcased both.

With the regular season winding down, Benjamin Logan will have an opportunity to carry that momentum into one of its biggest remaining tests.
The Raiders will host their final regular-season home game Monday against Miller City, which enters the matchup with an impressive 10-0-3 record and a No. 4 ranking in the Division V state poll. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
With a school-record winning streak on the line and a highly ranked opponent coming to town, the Raiders will look to make another statement as they continue their historic run.
