The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders continued their late-season push Monday night, blanking Calvary Christian 2-0 to move to 11-2-1 on the season and maintain their position atop the CBC Mad River Division.

Benjamin Logan controlled the match defensively, allowing just two saves from goalkeeper Avery Rogers as the Raiders secured another clean sheet. The shutout was a milestone for Rogers, marking the eighth shutout of the season — a new school record.

The Raiders got the offense they needed from Daylin Varner and Kaylee Hays.

Varner found the back of the net for one of Benjamin Logan's two goals while also setting up another, finishing the night with a goal and an assist. Hays added the other Raider goal, while Paislee Rodenberger contributed an assist.

The victory keeps Benjamin Logan in first place in the CBC Mad River Division with just one week remaining in the regular season.

The Raiders are currently 11-2-1, followed closely by Graham at 11-3-0 and Shawnee at 10-3-1. With the division race still tight, every remaining result carries added importance as Benjamin Logan looks to hold onto the top spot.

The Raiders will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Tecumseh for a pivotal CBC matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

With the regular season winding down, Benjamin Logan has put itself in position to control its own destiny — and Monday's shutout was another step toward finishing the season on top.
