The eighth annual Logan County Bikers for Santa Toy Run returns Saturday, Oct. 10.

The entire community is invited to show their support of the fun-filled and meaningful event just ahead of the holiday season. “This year, we invite you to ride with us, help send us off, or pack downtown and cheer as Santa leads the way through town,” organizers said. Over the past seven years, Logan County Bikers for Santa has raised nearly $100,000 in toys and cash for underprivileged children in Logan County.

“Lutheran Community Services Inc. distributes the donations, and we are especially proud that 100 percent of the funds raised go directly to the children,” organizers said. Registration for the ride begins at 9 a.m. at the Bellefontaine Moose, 912 S. Detroit St., where a light cash breakfast will be served and music, raffles and games will take place. Then the ride begins at 11 a.m.

“At 11 a.m., we will ride beneath the giant American flag and cruise down Main Street with a Bellefontaine police escort,” Logan County Bikers for Santa representatives said.“We will continue to Quincy, where the Tribe Motorcycle Club will host us, then we will take the back roads to Camp Brewing for a meal, music, raffles and friendship.”

The cost of the ride is $10 per person or an unwrapped gift of equal or greater value.

All bikes are welcome, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to Lutheran Community Services of Logan County.
