The West Liberty-Salem volleyball team has put together one of the strongest starts in the Ohio Heritage Conference, and the Lady Tigers will face a demanding test Saturday morning when they take on three opponents.

West Liberty-Salem enters the pivotal weekend with an 8-2 record and a six-match winning streak, establishing itself as one of the OHC's top-performing teams heading into Saturday's triple header at Minster High School.

The Tigers will open the morning at 9 a.m. against Tri-Village, before returning to the court to face host Minster. The morning will conclude with a  matchup against Archbishop Alter.

Three matches in three hours will challenge West Liberty-Salem's depth, endurance and ability to make quick adjustments. It also gives the Tigers an opportunity to showcase the balance that has helped them become one of the conference's most productive teams this season.

Sophomore Reese Winters has been a major force offensively, entering the weekend as the OHC leader with 172 kills. Winters' production has provided the Tigers with a consistent attacking option and helped fuel their six-match winning streak.

On the defensive side, senior Reagan Winters has been one of the league's top defenders. She currently leads the OHC with 170 digs, giving West Liberty-Salem a reliable presence in the back row and helping keep rallies alive.

Senior Sophia Landon has also played a key role in the Tigers' success. Landon enters the weekend ranked fourth in the OHC in assists, helping orchestrate an offense that has consistently produced throughout the season.

The numbers tell the story of a team that has contributions coming from multiple areas of the court. Reese Winters has supplied the kills, Reagan Winters has anchored the defense and Landon has helped direct the offense, but the Tigers' 8-2 record and six-match winning streak are a reflection of the team as a whole.

That team chemistry will be especially important Saturday.

With virtually no time between matches, West Liberty-Salem will have to quickly put each result behind it and prepare for the next opponent. The Tigers will begin the day against Tri-Village at 9 a.m., face Minster one hour later and then close the morning against Archbishop Alter.

For a team that has emerged as one of the OHC's top units, Saturday provides a chance to continue that momentum while facing three distinct challenges in one morning.
