Otterbein Universal (formerly Universal Home Health & Hospice) is offering two free grief camps this year for area children and teens.
Both programs take place at Marmon Valley Farm and offer opportunities for play and stress relief activities, such as horseback riding, challenge courses, archery and rock wall climbing, while also providing opportunities for grief support with trained counselors and volunteers.
The purpose of the programs is to connect campers with other children who have suffered similar loss, normalize feelings of grief and to provide coping mechanisms for processing grief when they leave camp.
