Ohio Hi-Point (OHP) has a well-defined goal: help high school students prepare for and move into the workforce. One key way to do that is through their work-based learning (WBL) program.

With that in mind, OHP’s healthcare and exercise science instructors and WBL coordinators met with representatives from area healthcare organizations for a roundtable discussion on Tuesday, May 26. Their purpose? To bring together new and current partners to identify ways to provide OHP students with more opportunities, specifically in healthcare and exercise science.

As enrollment in the school’s healthcare programs continue to grow, OHP wants to expand WBL placements and strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers.
