Ohio Hi-Point Career Center recently inducted students into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), recognizing their achievement, leadership and commitment to excellence in career and technical education.

Students from across Ohio Hi-Point’s partner districts were honored during the ceremony. NTHS members are enrolled in OHP programs either on campus or in the district’s satellite programs.

To be inducted, students must meet the criteria of membership, which includes having at least a 3.5 GPA, meeting attendance requirements, and having the approval and recommendation of instructional staff. NTHS is an organization devoted to the recognition of student achievement in career and technical education. Members of NTHS hold seven attributes: skill, honesty, service, responsibility, scholarship, citizenship and leadership.

Current NTHS members Caitlyn Kolopajlo (Marysville Early College High School), CJ Newberry (Kenton), Kiyah Howe (Kenton High School), Alexandra Kinney (Indian Lake High School), Mackenna Woltz (Kenton High School), Anne Twaddle (Marysville Early College High School), Aryanna Grant (Kenton High School), Kindle Wilcox (Kenton High School), Ivy Hatfield (Ohio Hi-Point), and Kylie Searson (Kenton High School) led the ceremony.

“These students have demonstrated a strong commitment to their future and to excellence in their career programs,” said Ashley Cook, one of the NTHS advisors. “Their induction into NTHS reflects their hard work and their readiness to succeed in the workforce and beyond.”
