COLUMBUS — The Ohio State University’s Columbus campus has reached a record enrollment this fall, with more than 62,000 students attending classes at the university’s main campus.
Ohio State reported Monday, Sept. 21, that its autumn 2026 enrollment census counted 62,010 students on the Columbus campus, a 1.1 percent increase from last year. Undergraduate enrollment also reached a record 47,308 students.
University wide, Ohio State enrolled 68,183 students this fall, an increase of 1.4 percent over the previous year. The university’s regional campuses account for another 6,173 students, with regional-campus enrollment increasing 4.1 percent.
The latest figures continue a period of enrollment growth at Ohio State. In 2024, the university reported a record first-year class of 9,530 students on the Columbus campus, while total university enrollment reached 66,901.
