Happy Saturday! Hope you had a great week and are now soaking in the weekend vibes. Do you have any big plans, like heading to the ballpark or doing some spring yard work? My family will be heading to Lions Park today to watch my son’s quarter midget races with the Mac-O-Chee Quarter Midget Racing Association. Should be a nice weekend at the (mini) race track!
Honda is starting a brand new event today at the Honda Heritage Center across the street from the Marysville Auto Plant - Cars, Bikes & Coffee. It runs from 9 a.m. to noon today, with donuts, hot coffee and a car and motorcycle show. If you miss today’s free event, the car show continues on the fourth Saturday of each month through August, and then again in October.
Logan County Children’s Services’ KidFest takes place today as well, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bellefontaine High School. A wide variety of free activities bring delight to youngsters, while honoring Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The Lady Chiefs’ Joy Fogan had a record-breaking game for BHS softball Thursday against the Pioneers. Congratulations to Joy!
Finally, the Logan County History Center will be decked out in patriotic fanfare for the spring open house, “A Salute to America” on Sunday!
Have a fantastic weekend! We’re so appreciative of your support and feedback. Please stay in touch with us at [email protected].
