West Liberty-Salem High School is recognizing a group of outstanding student-athletes who have recently signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

“These signings reflect years of dedication, perseverance and Tiger pride both in the classroom and in competition,” school officials said.

Longshore

Elise Longshore has signed with University of North Carolina Pembroke, where she will compete in pole vault. Elise’s commitment to her craft and her continued growth have made her a standout in the program.

Wallen

Garrett Wallen will attend Muskingum University to compete in cross country. Garrett’s consistency and leadership have made a lasting impact on his team.

Louden

Brevin Louden has signed with Heidelberg University, where he will continue both his basketball and track careers. Brevin’s athletic versatility and work ethic have been key to his success across multiple sports.

Longaberger

Wyatt Longaberger will attend University of Findlay to play soccer. Wyatt’s dedication and competitive spirit have helped shape him into a strong contributor on and off the field.

Sertell

Isaac Sertell has signed with Mount Vernon Nazarene University to continue his baseball career. Isaac’s commitment to improvement and team-first mentality have made him a valuable part of the program.

Each signing was celebrated alongside family, friends, teammates, and coaches—highlighting the strong support system that has helped guide these student-athletes along the way.

“These student-athletes represent everything we hope for in our programs - commitment, leadership, and a willingness to put in the work day after day,” said Athletic Director Morgan Sullivan.

“We are incredibly proud of the way they represent West Liberty-Salem, and we are excited to see them take the next step. Their impact on our teams and school culture will be missed, but we know they will continue to make a difference wherever they go.”
